The Bob Richins Scholarship Award

The Bob Richins Scholarship was created in memory of Robert W. Richins, a passionate advocate for Literacy Volunteers of Washington County and a beloved member of LVWC’s Board of Trustees.

The scholarship provides up to $1,000 a year in assistance to students who may need additional funds to meet their citizenship or educational goals.

It's easy to apply! If you are a student interested in The Bob Richins Scholarship, ask your tutor or LVWC staff for more information.

Applications are now open for our 2026! Students are invited to turn their applications in by Friday, May 29th.
